We are here to help!
During this period of self-isolation for many of our families, we are beginning to populate this page with resources and support. In the case of an enforced closure, you will be informed of further support the school will offer.
Any offer made below to support your child’s learning during self-isolation or a closure will not match the quality of a day in school. Nevertheless, we are committed to working with you to ensure that your child or children can continue to enjoy, achieve and learn.
We strongly recommend that you commit to a sense of routine during these closure days and enable your child to complete the learning activities given; we all benefit from routine and structure and this can be particularly beneficial during unusual and concerning times such as these. We acknowledge that many parents will be working at home and the learning activities are designed to fit in with your own busy schedules.
A day with your child may look like this:
|Time||What are we doing?||Ideas|
|Before 9.00am||Wake up||Eat breakfast, make your bed, get dressed, put pyjamas away or in laundry.|
|9.00 – 10.00am||Morning Walk||Family walk! Get outdoors, whatever the weather.|
|10.00 – 12.00am||Learning Time – Be Academic, Be Technological||Make use of the many resources or weekly learning activities sent.|
|12.00pm – 12.45pm||Lunch||Help make lunch, set the table.|
|12.45 – 1.15pm||Free Play||Have a rest, play with some toys, go outside.|
|1.15 – 3.15pm||Learning Time – Be Creative, Be Active||Make use of the many resources or weekly learning activities sent.|
|3.15 – 4.30pm||Afternoon Fresh Air||Family walk! Get outdoors, whatever the weather.|
|4.30pm||Free Play||Have a rest, play with some toys, go outside.|
